Matt Fiore is a Vice-President at Updata Advisors who joined the firm in 2004 and brings to client engagements over 9 years of experience in M&A advisory and corporate development roles.  Since joining Updata, Mr. Fiore has helped consummate more than 12 transactions including Capgemini's acquisition of Software Architects, HIG Capital's investment in Insight Global, and Ciber's acquisition of Metamor (a division of Headstrong).

Prior to Updata, Mr. Fiore was a strategic acquisition analyst for Clondalkin Group's (a Warburg Pincus-backed company) North American corporate development team, based in Philadelphia. While at Clondalkin, Mr. Fiore coordinated all due diligence efforts for the firm's buy-side M&A activity and completed three acquisitions. Earlier, Mr. Fiore interned with Cornell Capital Group and Fagan Associates.

Mr. Fiore holds a B.S. in business administration (finance) from Villanova University and spent a semester studying at the Universite de Bourgogne in Dijon, France.
