Robert Lung is a Vice-President at Updata Advisors who joined the firm in 2004 and brings to client engagements 6 years of investment banking experience.  Since joining Updata, he has helped consummate numerous transactions including the acquisition of SurfControl by Websense, the acquisition of Consul Risk Management by IBM, the acquisition of Navisys by Accenture, and the acquisition of Internosis by EMC.

Prior to Updata, Mr. Lung was a Research Analyst with Broadview International and an Analyst with Cornell Capital Partners.  While with Broadview, Mr. Lung conducted research on mergers and acquisitions transactions in the IT, media, telecommunications, and healthcare technology sectors.  At Cornell Capital Partners, Mr. Lung identified new investment opportunities in publicly traded companies.

Mr. Lung earned an M.S. in quantitative methods and modeling, beta gamma sigma, from the Zicklin School of Business and a B.A. in economics from the University of Chicago.
