Chase
Sanders
Chase Sanders is a Director at Signal Hill Updata, and was previously Senior Vice President at Updata Advisors, joining the firm in 2007 after five years as a CEO and entrepreneur. In addition to this experience, Mr. Sanders brings 13 years of total advisory experience to Signal Hill Updata, during which he completed over 40 capital-raising and M&A transactions with an aggregate value of over $5 billion.
Previously, Mr. Sanders was CEO of a residential home services firm. During his tenure at this firm, he quadrupled the firm's revenue and profits and expanded its service coverage from one to eight states. Previously, Mr. Sanders served in the technology and telecom investment banking groups at Montgomery Securities (now Banc of America) and Bear, Stearns & Co. in New York, where he completed numerous M&A and capital-raising transactions across various industry sectors. At Bear, Mr. Sanders became the senior east coast enterprise software banker. Mr. Sanders began his career as a corporate attorney in the Baltimore/Washington region with the firms of DLA Piper and Hogan & Hartson where he advised clients in the technology and telecom industries.
Mr. Sanders received a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, a Master's degree from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, and a B.A. with distinction from the University of Virginia, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
