Carlos Sava is an Associate with Updata Advisors who joined the firm in 2007.

Prior to Updata, Mr. Sava was an Analyst with Friedman Billings Ramsey in the Technology Media and Telecom and Insurance verticals, where his transaction experience included both sell-side and buy-side M&A engagements as well IPOs, secondary offerings and private placements.  At FBR, he conducted due diligence activities, developed valuations, completed market research and built financial models and analyses.  In his five years of experience, Mr. Sava participated in completing capital raising and advisory transactions of approximately $1 billion in aggregate value.

Mr. Sava earned a B.B.A. in accounting and finance from the University of Wisconsin Madison.
