Patrick Chang is an Associate with Updata Advisors who joined the firm in 2008.

Prior to joining Updata, Mr. Chang completed the investment banking analyst program at Banc of America Securities in the Technology, Media and Telecom group where he worked on a variety of transactions, from financing to buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Chang has broad exposure to clients across sub-sectors within TMT, with specific projects for eBay, Yahoo!, Sprint, Motorola, RIM, CACI, Harris, Red Hat, and HP, and specialization in Federal IT services and communications equipment. Mr. Chang has participated in capital raising and advisory transactions of approximately $4 billion in aggregate value.

Prior to Banc of America, Mr. Chang was a member of Deloitte Consulting where he specialized in Supply Chain Management and assisted clients in optimizing supply chain efficiency. He was also an analyst at Lehman Brothers covering Technology, Media and Telecom. 

Mr. Chang graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a B.S. in Management and with a concentration in Banking and Finance and Entrepreneurship.
