Phillips
Jesse Phillips is an Analyst with Updata Advisors who joined the firm in April 2010.
Prior to joining Updata Advisors, Mr. Phillips was an Analyst at Merrill Advisory Group, where he focused on executing buy-side and sell-side engagements for middle-market companies within the Government Contracting and IT Services industries. In addition, he authored research publications and analytics covering the M&A market for government contracting companies. Previously, Mr. Phillips worked as an Analyst in the Technology, Media, & Telecom, and Financial Sponsors groups at FBR Capital Markets, where he worked on a variety of transactions including sell-side acquisitions, reverse mergers, and private placements.
Mr. Phillips graduated from the Kogod School of Business at American University cum laude, with specializations in finance and accounting, and a minor in economics.
