Enhances US ERP Practice Dedicated to SAP
GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colorado – September 5, 2007 – CIBER, Inc. (NYSE: CBR) today announced it has acquired the SAP Practice of Headstrong Corporation, which was operated under the name of Metamor Enterprise Solutions LLC.
“CIBER has a leading business model in international ERP implementations; over 25% of our revenue comes from ERP related solutions. However, while we are a global leader in Europe in SAP integrations, our US SAP Practice needs to scale up to the greater demand we are experiencing,” said Mac Slingerlend, CIBER’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “Further, we are specialists in the “retail sector” vertical for SAP, a specialty of Metamor, as well. We are pleased to close this combination and bring on Arnold Nel from Metamor to lead our US SAP Practice, reporting to Dave Siebert, SVP responsible for several CIBER ERP Practices.”
Per Arnold Nel, “Metamor has been delivering SAP solutions for over a decade. Our 100+ resources complement very well CIBER’s own, and we are excited to join an international scale player dedicated to our business model.”
“Metamor is expecting calendar 2007 revenue to exceed $20 million, only the last four months of which will be at CIBER, and to be profitable. We expect the combination will be neutral to 2007 operating results and nominally accretive to 2008 results, and provide leadership and scale to our greater domestic SAP activities,” added Dave Girard, CIBER’s Chief Operating Officer.
